Kirirom National Park Resort was discovered in 1940. This national park covers an area of 35,000 hectares and is located in Stung Chral Village, O’Bak Rotes Commune, Kampong Seila District, Preah Sihanouk Province, and Damrey Phot Village, Kirirom Commune, Phnom Sruoch District, Kampong Speu Province, 165 km from the Two Lions Roundabout of Sihanoukville by National Road 4 and Expressway.
At the 87th kilometer post, at the intersection of Treng Trayeung, turn left and continue for about 27 km to Kirirom National Park. It became a major tourist attraction due to its former historical sites of the royal monarchy and luxurious natural beauty, such as the old and the new king’s house, the king’s ponds area, the Otahui waterfall area, the Chamkar Te mountain range, the Thmaloy mountain cave area, the pine trees, fresh air, and others. The air is cool and pure. Currently, in the park area, there are a number of resorts providing accommodation, food and beverages, and some recreational activities.
